Can/could you tell me…? Do you know…? I’d like to know… I was wondering if…
Excuse me, could you tell me where the nearest bank is?
I was wondering if you could help me.
I’d like to know what you’re going to cook for dinner.
НЕ правильно:
Could you tell me where do you live? Do you know if does this train go to Cardiff? Can you tell me who is this man?
Wh- вопросы
В непрямых вопросах подлежащее идёт после вопросительного wh- слова и до глагола:

Can you tell me where is the station?
Wh- вопросы с do, does, did.
В непрямых вопросах, do, does или did не используются после wh- слова.

НЕ правильно: I’d like to know what did he say.
Правильно: I’d like to know what he said.
В непрямых вопросах, которые образуются от общих вопросов (=yes/no-вопросы), надо вставить if или whether: if/whether + подлежащее + глагол (= утвердительное предложение)
